We are currently seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer with a background in the Oil & Gas Industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in estimating projects related to piping, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, fuel tanks, Structural Steel Fabrication & Erection. The Estimation Engineer will play a crucial role in analyzing project requirements, evaluating costs, and preparing accurate estimates to support our business development efforts.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other technical documents to understand project requirements.
• Conduct thorough assessments of project scope, materials, labor, and other resources required for project execution.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to gather necessary information and ensure accuracy of estimates.
• Utilize industry-standard estimation software and tools to prepare detailed cost estimates.
• Provide timely and accurate cost estimates to support bidding and proposal development activities.
• Review and analyze vendor quotations, subcontractor bids, and material prices to ensure competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions to optimize project costs.
• Participate in project meetings, discussions, and negotiations as required to support business development efforts.
• Maintain documentation of estimates, assumptions, and cost data for future reference and analysis.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 – 10 years of experience in estimation roles within the Oil & Gas / Steel Fabrication Industry
• Strong technical knowledge of piping, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers, fuel tanks, Structural Steel Fabrication & Erection.
• Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical documents and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in estimating costs.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Prior experience in a similar role with a proven track record of successful project estimations.

 Salary Range

• 8,000 QAR – 10,000 QAR ( All Inclusive Package), however its negotiable if the candidate is well experienced and technically sound.
